The truth is, I could post all the healthy recipes in the world and it wouldn't matter one bit if you didn't actually use them. I don't think you need more recipes. I believe the way we approach food and eating habits is the same we approach fitness. If you look at it like something you 'have' to do - something that feels like a punishment, then chances are you won't continue to do it for very long. 

The connection between Pilates and healthy eating begins with the awareness about your body. What is it trying to say to you?

The Green Goddess to start your day:

There were 2 things I purchased over the Summer. One was the Wii fitness ( don't waste your money) the other was the Magic Bullet Chopper and I use this everyday- several times a day. It really does make eating healthy easier. This green smoothie recipe is so good and so easy. I change it up with celery and cucumber, but try to keep it all green!

1/2 cucumber

1 pitted and peeled avocado

juice of one lemon

fresh dill or basil

grated ginger

purified water/ ice cubes

Place all in the Bullet and there you have it! If you can't seem to get over the 'green' factor, close your eyes because your body will thank you. It is detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and stabilizes your acid level in the blood.  I follow the Raw Epicurean on Twitter along with some other great Raw food experts that make healthy eating easy and tasty!
