My experience with Pilates began in 2005 when a debilitating back pain had me visiting the doctor more than the grocery store. I was a Ballroon Dance instructor, but I had no clue about posture.  A colleague of mine she 'found Pilates for her own practice, but as soon as she learn she could help someone with their injury, she knew she was hooked teaching.

Experience: 
*We live in the valley of Resorts and Spas, so I started teaching at two of the best resorts in Valley. I also had the privilege to work in a  Pilates studio with clients ranging from Professional Athletes to 88 year old men.It taught me so much about being a teacher and different range of clients.. It was the first time I realized Pilates could help truly anyone on the spectrum.  
* Initiated and expanded a Pilates program at John C. Lincoln Hospital for employees.
* Founder of the non profit organization ' Inner Tough Girls' 
a cancer Survivorship program.
**Created and implemented new wellness programs  for various facilities throughout the Valley. *Wrote and published the ebook "Banish Your Back Pain from Sitting At Your Desk".
*Designed and published "Believe"  - a  fitness and health journal for clients .
*Maintain weekly blog on health and wellness. 
*Experienced speaker and workshop presenter on stress management.
*Designed and implemented fitness programs for individual clients with special needs. *Built group fitness classes by 100% over the course of a year.

Office Pilates

Based on my ebook “Banish Back Pain from Sitting at Your Desk”  This  workshop  goes over strengthening and flexibility exercise for people  stuck at the computer all day. Sitting is one of the worst things we can do for our backs. Unfortunately, it’s unavoidable sometimes. Have more energy and clarity to get your work done!   Learn the things to do to keep your back healthy and strong . No prior Pilates experience needed.

 



Taming the Stress Monster

We all have it- the question is, “How do we handle our stress? “ Stress creates physiological responses in the body such as high blood pressure, depression, suppressed immune function, impaired cognitive performance and inflammation throughout the body. Learn fun, practical techniques to tame your stress monster and live a happier, healthier life.









Relax and Renew with Tai Chi
 Great for relaxation and gentle exercise.  Students will  learn exercises and techniques  to continue at home.







 Cancer and Exercise
A Mind Body Approach to Healing- Sometimes what you don’t know CAN hurt you. This program that goes over the things that get lost somewhere between your  oncologists and surgeons. Chemo, radiation and surgery can leave long term effect s in your body.  We will learn not only what exercises you should be doing, but WHY exercise is so important throughout treatment and after.  It also includes a take home booklet of the exercises to do on a daily basis. This workshop is for anyone who is currently undergoing treatment or has had treatment in the past.   Presented on donation basis to benefit Strong Body, Strong Mind- a non profit that trains cancer patients to regain strength and vitality.
